Terms of Service

Welcome to RehearseAI. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of RehearseAI (“RehearseAI”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the RehearseAI mobile and web applications, and all related features and services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What RehearseAI is

RehearseAI is an AI-powered interview-coaching app. It helps you prepare for job interviews by generating tailored practice questions, conducting realistic mock interviews with an AI interviewer (including an AI voice), and providing automated feedback and scoring on your answers. You can optionally upload a CV so that questions and feedback are tailored to your background.

RehearseAI is a practice and self-improvement tool only. It is not a recruitment service, employment agency, or guarantee of any interview, job offer, or outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

To use most features you need an account. You can sign in using a one-time email code, or through a supported third-party sign-in option. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your sign-in method and device secure;
  • all activity that takes place under your account;
  • providing accurate information and keeping it up to date.

4. Subscriptions, plans and billing

RehearseAI offers a free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Plus). The free plan includes a limited number of practice interviews. The paid plans increase your monthly interview allowance — with Plus offering unlimited interviews — and unlock premium features such as harder difficulty levels, stronger-answer suggestions, and progress tracking. The specific interview limits, features and prices of each plan are shown in the app before you purchase.

  • Where you buy. Paid plans are purchased and managed through the app store you downloaded RehearseAI from. Your purchase is also subject to that store’s terms.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal through your app-store account.
  • Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store’s account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
  • Refunds. Because billing is handled by the app stores, refunds are governed by the relevant store’s refund policy. We do not separately process card payments.
  • Price changes. We may change plan prices or features. Changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will make material changes clear before they take effect.

5. AI-generated content — important

The questions, spoken interviewer, scores, written feedback and suggested answers in RehearseAI are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your specific situation.

  • Feedback and scores are practice guidance only and are not a professional assessment of your abilities.
  • RehearseAI does not provide career, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.
  • You are responsible for how you use the output, and you should apply your own judgement before relying on it.

6. Your content

“Your Content” means anything you provide to the Service, including your CV, the information in it, and the answers and transcripts you produce during interviews. You keep ownership of Your Content.

To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process and analyse Your Content — including sending it to our AI providers — solely to provide and improve the features you use (for example, to generate questions, score answers, and produce feedback). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you upload, and you agree not to upload confidential information belonging to other people or organisations without permission.

7. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • use it for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or that violates someone else’s rights;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or resell the Service or its AI output;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its security;
  • use the Service to build or train a competing product, or to misrepresent AI output as something other than practice material.

8. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, text, and the “RehearseAI” name — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own interview preparation. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for features such as sign-in, payment processing, AI processing, and voice generation. Your use of those features may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

10. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information, including your CV and interview data, is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the Service, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RehearseAI and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of opportunity, employment, data, or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users, third parties, or us. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of that place, unless mandatory local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
